To find players using performance data, you have to “translate” real-world footballing qualities into numbers. Elite analysts can build a detailed picture of a player using data. This module shows you how it’s done.
The module covers the key statistical techniques and knowledge Premier League analysts use to identify technical, tactical, and psychological strengths in a performance dataset. We’ll learn the challenges that can make it difficult to capture a player’s qualities, and how analysts overcome them.
The module wraps up with an interactive exercise which gives you the chance to help your club find a new full-back. This module is CPD accredited.
This model is part of a Level 2 Qualification
