One of a performance analyst’s core tasks is to improve team performance. The best way to do this is by asking targeted questions about how the team is playing, which can then be answered using data and video analysis.
This module taps the expertise of analysts from the Premier League and Championship to show you what questions the professionals ask, and how they answer them. You’ll see how analysts make a vital contribution to their team’s performance on the pitch.
Along the way, you’ll get the chance to investigate some performance questions for yourself, based on real analysis from top-flight clubs. First, you’ll ask why your team’s midfield is struggling to progress the ball. Then, in the final interactive assessment, it will be your job to investigate some concerning data on the forwards’ pressing. This module is CPD accredited.
