Our Level 3 course in Working with Players and Coaches explores best practice for working effectively with your club’s key footballing personnel.
Even the most insightful analysis is useless unless you know how to communicate it to the people it’s designed to support: the coaches and players. This course explores how to build strong working relationships and get your message across. First, we’ll look at best practice for communicating analysis to players, so you can not only explain your analysis, but also support coaching staff with insight into how players learn. Then we’ll see how to optimise your working relationship with the coaching team.
This course is part of a Level 3 Qualification
This Course Includes:
Any of the modules can be taken by itself, but you’ll learn the most by taking all three in order.
Each module ends with an assessment: sometimes a multiple-choice quiz and sometimes an interactive exercise. When you’ve passed all three assessments, you’ll earn three CPD points.
The information you’ll learn on this course was provided by a group of performance analysts with experience in the Premier League, the Women’s Super League, the Championship, and the Bundesliga. You can visit our Experts page to see a selection of the analysts who have contributed to our courses.
Our award-winning content team worked closely with the analyst group to create a fully-interactive course based on their expertise. Our content team are not only football fans: we have years of experience creating digital learning for football professionals.
Level 3 Working with Players and Coaches is suitable for working performance analysts who want to develop their professional knowledge and skills in this aspect of the role.
The course will also be valuable to anyone interested in how elite back-room staff work with players and coaches, such as journalists and other football professionals.
If you’re not yet working in analysis, this course can still be very valuable for your development. However, you’ll get the most out of it if you complete our Level 1 and 2 courses first.
